Add Dictionaries for Component Templates

This video shows how to add dictionaries to be used in component templates. It also demonstrates the process to alter a parameter within a component.

Agenda

Add a New Dictionary  - In the dictionaries settings, type in a parameter name to add values to, and select create.  Add different parameters and save the entries. 

Restart Program - Log out of Altium Designer and sign back in to the workspace.

Enter the Workspace to Edit a Component Template - Edit a component for the new parameter and save to the server.

Create a New Component - Select the created component and verify that the parameter has changed, or edit it to the new parameter value.
