Best Practices for Library Migration

  • Set component types for uncategorized components using advanced mode in Altium Designer’s Library Importer.
  • When working with large monolithic libraries, import components in smaller batches by excluding component types to expedite uploads.
  • Configure import checks, parameter mapping, and part choice mapping in the properties panel.
